Coverage of all other vehicle components remains unchanged, and all other terms, conditions, limitations, and exclusions of Nissan’s New Vehicle Limited Warranty, Federal Vehicle Emission Control Limited Warranties, and California Vehicle Emission Control Warranties remain unchanged.
Reason for the Emission Warranty Extensions
Certain TITAN XD Diesel may experience issues with the Turbo Actuator or the High-Pressure Turbocharger. Over time, a solder crack may develop in the Turbo Actuator and/or carbon build-up is possible on the High-Pressure Turbocharger Compressor. The most likely conditions that you will experience are a MIL-On with DTC P00AF and/or DTC P0299.
What the Limited Emission Warranty Extension Covers
During the warranty extension period, if the Turbo Actuator or High-Pressure Turbocharger needs to be replaced, you are eligible for free replacement if either is determined to be required by a Nissan-trained technician.
